UNLV Introduces New Research for Blackjack

If you’re a fan of blackjack then you know full well how popular the game is at the Las Vegas casinos. For a long time now Las Vegas has been the city has been falling off the map in terms of one market that the initially built up. Gambling is something that Las Vegas is known for the years has provided to customers from high-rollers to small dollar wagers. The gambling city did take a big hit though with the recent recessionary period. Gambling companies in the market were unable to rally due to the declining numbers and the amount of people who were no longer able to wager. Remember that at the height of the recession credit card companies shut their doors to even those with good credit and started to reel in what little amount of credit they were willing to extend. This put a lot of people that much more of a strain than usual. They had to cut back on their blackjack games and that stifled Las Vegas because it relied on its blackjack tables to bring in such a huge amount of revenue. There is some hope that maybe coming to the city though and it’s in the form of a graduate-level research program.

The University of Nevada Las Vegas is embarking on a plan for students to work with hotels in the gambling city by testing out the new software protocols. The software is supposed to help to make the entire process of booking a room, comparing rates, requesting services, located amenities, a concierge service and room service simpler for the customer to manage. The goal is to find the perfect software to help manage the casino floors and spur in more customers as a result. This is going to be an experiment that could considerably help casino companies away to bring people back into Las Vegas. If this project is successful it could put Las Vegas back on the map in terms of the number one gambling hotspot in the US and possibly back into one of the top five gambling hotspots throughout the entire world. Gambling companies in the city are hoping that they are a going to have positive results thanks to this research program. If it does work it could bring their revenues up once again and help them to work their way back up in the market of gambling centers of the world.
